2012 Artist Alley Art Compilation

2012 was the final year of my animation course and most of my time was spend working on my final animation project. Around mid-year though, I somehow still squeezed in time to prepare art for my very first stall at the artist alley at a local anime fan convention.

Chibi fanart bookmark designs I made for my art stall.
Hunter x Hunter (top-left), Fairy Tail (top-right), Rurouni Kenshin (bottom-left) & D.Gray Man (bottom-right).

The characters were used also in some of the other merch I sold at the stall, ranging from stickers, badges, mugs, prints and tote bags.

All these illustrations were created using Adobe Photoshop and originally posted on DeviantArt before I eventually took them down.

My first artist alley display under the name, Evee Chan’s Store, selling mostly fanart.
It was a very amateur-ish display, but it was my first. ┐(´д`)┌

Manifest was the name of the anime fan convention where I decided to hold my very first artist alley table. The year prior, I went to the Manifest convention as a customer, and this year (2012), I decided to open an art stall of my own, despite the looming deadline of my final animation project for uni. (¬_¬;)

It was a three day event and I was only able to breakeven for the table and the print costs, but it was fun and enjoyable enough for me to decide to continue this for the next few years and gain some very important skills and experiences.
