2010 HxH Fanart Compilation

The anime ‘Hunter x Hunter’ became one of my all-time favourite anime/manga series since I discovered it in my late high school years. So naturally, as a fan I drew a lot of fanart for this series and posted them on DeviantArt. In 2010, I drew a lot of HxH fanart to help me practise while I was in my first year of uni.

Digital illustration bust shot of Leorio, Kurapika, Gon, Killua and Hisoka posing individually.
Digital illustration of Leona (original character) leaning over to kiss an up-right sleeping Kurapika on the cheek.
Digitally illustrated character sheet for Leona (OC) showing close-up of her head, close-up of one of her eyes, full body front, side and back, shocked face, happy face, pouty face, and her bag and weapon.

Leona was an OC I made to be paired up with Kurapica. She existed in a fanfiction I once wrote on FanFiction.net (now taken down) during high school. Around that time, I saw the concept of character design sheets floating around on DeviantArt and decided to make one for Leona. ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

[1] Baby Gon, [2] Baby Killua, [3] Baby Kurapika, [4] Baby Leorio, [5] Baby Hisoka, [6] Baby Chrollo Lucilfer, [7] Baby Machi, [8] Baby Feitan, [9] Baby Kalluto Zoldyck, [10] Baby Neon Nostrad, [11] Baby Biscuit Krueger, [12] Baby Neferpitou

These baby versions of HunterxHunter characters were made between 2009 and 2010 as an art series that became quite popular on DeviantArt at one point. It was the only time my art got so much attention on the DA platform. (´◡`)

And finally a random webcomic I made about Gon and Killua going through Kurapica’s drawers. ↓↓

Kurapica Cosplayer comic. One day, Gon and Killua decided to explore Kurapica's room... And ended up finding his clothes and wearing them to show off to Kurapica.

All these fanart were created using Adobe Photoshop with a Wacom tablet and lots of HxH anime references. (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Memories of Us 2009

“I shall never forget you and the time we spent together.”

A boy and girl watches the sunset on the beach.
Both boy and girl smile at each other on the beach.
Boy playfully chases girl on the sunset beach.
Both boy and girl shares a drink together sitting on a rock at the sunset beach.
Boy and girl builds a sand castle on the beach.
Boy puts a camera on a rock prepared to take a photo.
Boy and girl both hold hands smiling at the camera on the sunset beach.
Boy holds the photo of them holding hands and smiling at the beach.
Boy shed tears looking up from the photo in his hand while siting on the same sunset beach alone.
Boy solemnly watches the ocean alone on the sunset beach.

A short comic strip project I made for a submission into my uni arts course. I was given the prompt “Memories” and this comic was the outcome that got me into the course. ╰(▔∀▔)╯

What happened to the girl in the end is left open ended and up to your imagination.

This comic was created using Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom tablet, and originally posted on DeviantArt before eventually I took it down.
