Death Watch 2011

A short animation project about a young man one day receiving a death countdown watch that has him feeling scared and tries to run away from his faith. However, he is stalked by Death, in the form of a creepy young-looking girl, who would not leave him until his time on his watch was up.

This was animated in Adobe Flash, properly rendered in Photoshop and then compiled together in Adobe After Effects.

I found keeping my art quality consistent very hard throughout making this animation. It seemed I was not used to drawing so much at one time and still maintain quality, and this persisted into my final year of the course. I ultimately decided not to continue pursuing the animation career path after graduation and moved on to design instead. ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌

This animation was originally posted on Vimeo and I eventually took it down.

T.B Escapes From Prison 2011

A black and white lip-syncing practise animation project I made about a toothbrush prisoner talking about how he hatched a prison escape plan.

This was made entirely in Adobe Flash, hence the wonky lines throughout the animation, and then later converted to standard video format.
