The Wine-bearer Comic 2014

This webcomic was a design project for my graphic design course in 2014. The task was simply to illustrate and layout a double-page spread comic. I chose to base my comic on the Greek mythological origin story of Aquarius.

The version of the story I used came from this site, where Aquarius the Wine-bearer was originally a young price of Troy named ‘Ganymede’ who was kidnapped and forced to be Zeus’ wine-pouring slave. He was given the title Constellation of Aquarius as an apology for his mistreatment after Ganymede lashed out in frustration by pouring out all of the wine and caused flooding on Earth.
