2008 Art Compilation

Some art and sketches I made in 2008, where I also got my very first Wacom tablet (a now discontinued version). I was finally able to draw digitally and play around with other software like Microsoft Paint, but ultimately stayed with Adobe Photoshop.

In this piece, I tried to imitate the background style of one of my favourite artist Kagaya Yutaka. I was very pleased with how it came out, if only my drawing matched the style of the background. (´ω｀*)

Practise imitation sketches!

Two done in MS Paint (the eyes and Kanda) and the rest in Photoshop. Notable characters from anime are Kurapica from HunterxHunter (top right), Yu Kanda from D.Gray Man (middle left), and Allen Walker from D.Gray Man (middle right). The lower two characters were from an indie-made online manga that I can no longer remember the name of now. (ಥ_ಥ)
