A wondrous garden of imagination,

A landscape filled with great sensation.

You will not leave for any reason,

As you visit the garden of four seasons.

Watch vivid flowers bloom at spring,

While colourful songbirds chirp to sing.

The sun in summer is gold and bright,

As the warmth touches your face so light.

Have you felt the autumn wind by any chance?

Gathering leaves as it twirls you in a graceful dance.

Catch the winter’s soft, white snowflake,

And build the biggest snowman you can make.

A beautiful paradise with breath-taking views,

Too peaceful, too elegant, too precious to lose.

In the end, it’s an exquisite art that looks so real,

A garden portrait hanging on the windowsill.

Another old poem I wrote while I was still in high school. This poem was written and submitted into a youth poetry competition, where successful applicants got their poem featured in a printed book along with other successful entries. This poem was a selected entry.
